So sorry I haven’t posted in a while! Been super busy!!
So much has Been going on – Went down to Victoria last week to photograph a wedding, had an appointment with the surgeon, trying to get the kids back in the swing of school, went to dreamworld/white water world an much more.
Speaking of white water world: I got myself a bikini and it fits. First one ever to fit!!! Yay excited. I remember I had one in year 8 at school but that was 8 years ago and it didn’t even fit properly. I didn’t wear it by itself to www, I had a swimming top over it. I was too self conscious about my belly stretch marks and also the scar on my breast on the right side that just poked out past the bikini. I did however wear it today without a top over it just to the local lagoon. I still felt a bit weird. I dont think Ill do it again until my stretch marks are gone and that scar has faded. I may post a photo of how it looked tomorrow for you all to see. I’ll also post some photos of how I’m healing.
I had the last appointment for 3 months too. Everything went great. The couple of stitches that were sharp and poking through skin got taken out – wasn’t too painful just felt weird. Haha.
Also got myself a couple of pretty underwire bras! So comfortable! And the prettiest bras I’ve ever owned still sleeping in a crop top which is quite comfortable.
So yeah everything is good. Some of my stretch marks from my big boobs have decided to join in with my scars underneath. I’ll take a photo of that too for you
Well I’m off to bed. I will post some photos tomorrow.
First off I need to say, RIP to those heroes who have lost their lives in the Brisbane floods this week. The death toll currently stands at 13 and the number is rising. 11 of these 13 people are from two complete families, and there are still 70 people missing.- most houses you can only see the roofs of. It’s so horrible.
Complete towns have been flattened or flooded this week, so many people without houses living in emergency centres. The worst areas are where my family and loved ones are. Words cant explain how we are all feeling at the moment, flood waters through the CBD up to 4metres high.
My family and I went to an emergency centre 2 nights ago to help fill up sandbags. I was there for 4 hours – did as much as I could. Probably lifted more than I should have, those things are heavy. But I tried to do as much as I could. So many horrible stories. I cant sit here and write and share them all so I’ll just share one – that has touched everyone’s heart. In memory of Toowoomba’s young hero, Jordan Rice (13), swept away in the flash floods – Young Jordan asked rescures to save his younger brother Blake (10) first, unfortunately by the time they came back, Jordan and his mother were both washed away.
The clean up ahead is going to be horrible – if anyone who reads this would like to donate to the flood relief appeal please go to http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/donate.html
Queenslanders will help their family and loved ones get through this. Hard times are ahead.
Just thought this was interesting
Its amazing, I didn’t realize how different they’d look.
